WORKS

WORKS

I am a cultural historian specializing in Edo-period Japan and intercultural education.

My work connects academic research, public engagement, and creative media. Through trilingual publications (English, Japanese, Hungarian), lectures, and two YouTube channels, I share the values and everyday lives of common people in early modern Japan with a global audience. I also develop educational methods that integrate intercultural understanding and creative expression, including student video projects, high school outreach, and community-based initiatives in Japan.

Privately, as a mother of two bilingual children and a trained linguist, I am also deeply interested in how children acquire and develop language in multicultural environments.
