WORKS
I am a historian of early modern Japan, specializing in intellectual history. Through publications, public talks, and two YouTube channels in Japanese, English, and Hungarian, I introduce audiences beyond academia to the everyday lives and values of Edo-period people.
My teaching integrates intercultural learning and digital storytelling through student video projects, school outreach, and community programs. My background in linguistics and experience raising two bilingual children also inform my work in child language development and multilingual acquisition.
